Wedding videography in Central Texas (or wherever your hearts take you).

Life flies by too fast.

SO WE FILM IT.

VIDEOGRAPHY IN CENTRAL TEXAS

Although we try to emulate the “fly on the wall” while filming your day (read: sans production lights or giving directions, and out of the dang way), you will likely find Brandi shimmying her way closer and closer to the dance floor once the beat drops. But please anticipate no shimmying on Jake’s part. Introvert’s gonna introvert.

As your wedding videographers, we are neither directors nor light techs; we’re not filming a movie or some imagined story. We are your commitment to memory. We capture your wedding day as it unfolds. We want you to remember the way he squeezes your hand and whispers ‘You’re gorgeous’ as he whirls you around the dance floor — not a videographer’s spotlight blinding you to capture that moment. We work with the ambiance that you’ve so carefully designed for your day (likely over the span of months or even years) and are prepared to preserve that ambiance by leaving the production lights at home. Will you be getting hair and makeup done? Solid chance. Will you feel like a movie star? I mean, you probably should, but will it feel like a movie set on our account? No way.

Out of the way, yet capturing it all. We’re Something Clever:

the FLY ON

THE WALL.

WHY us?

We hardly even noticed them filming, they never got in our way and all of our guests were surprised with our videos as they never even saw either of them. They made our wedding dreams come true.
— Della Stolle

I didn’t want a big production and told Jacob that I liked a fly-on-the-wall approach and that’s exactly how Jacob filmed us. I was hardly aware of him throughout the day. He was not in our faces by any means and yet he captured everything.
— Polina Roots

He is an incredibly calming presence on a hectic and nerve-wracking day and he captures all the important, intimate, funny, special moments in the most artistic way.
— Rachel Toprac Miller
Some wedding videos are cliche or cheesy but not ours. They managed to capture the feeling, raw emotion and beauty in such a way that I ugly cry every time I see it.
